Hobs

Ceramic Hob – A ceramic hob radiates heat from under the surface.
Halogen – This type of hob heats using a strong halogen light and radiant heat.
Flame Failure - A thermostatic sensor, in the event that a flame is extinguished, the sensor will detect that no heat is generated and will automatically shut off the gas supply.

A designer extractor usually finished in Stainless Steel or glass can be extracted or recirculated.

Conventional - Freestanding extractor with glass/plastic visor.
Recirculation - The best way to remove odours and steam is to extract the air out of the room using ducting. If this is not possible, you can use charcoal filters for air purification which then re-enters the room via an opening in the hood.
